What's included in the basket weaving kit?
In the kit you will receive:
- A bundle of about 90 high-quality willow weaving rods
- A soaking bag (your willow will need to be soaked for a couple of hours before you weave it) full instructions are included
- A wire tie, which is used to tie the rods together and help the basket keep its shape during weaving

Meet your teacher
This course has been specially designed as a perfect beginner project by renowned willow artist and basketmaker Amanda Rayner. Amanda weaves sculptures, installations, garden furniture and all manner of baskets from her workshop in south Wales. She has over 20 years of teaching experience and is extremely passionate about the healing power of weaving - and passing this ancient art on to the next generation.

Who is this course for?

Your willow will be delivered to you door. Other than that you just need a pair of secateurs, that's it!
